Passengers travelling between Leeds Bradford and Southampton on fully flexible tickets with Eastern Airways now benefit from lounge access.
Business travellers have access to the premier lounge at Leeds Bradford airport, with facilities including a complimentary bar, snacks, free wifi and a range of newspapers and magazines.
Eastern Airways flies twice daily on weekdays between the two cities, departing Leeds ay 0725 and 1740, and departing Southampton at 0850 and 1920.
The move co-incides with new lead-in fares on the route, starting from £65 one-way including taxes and charges. All passengers flying with Eastern Airways from Leeds also have access to the airport’s fast track security lane.
In other news the carrier will launch a Sunday service between Newcastle and Cardiff at the end of this month, adding to its existing twice-daily weekday flights. The new service will depart Newcastle at 1735, arriving in Cardiff at 1840, with the return leg leaving Wales at 1905 and landing back in Newcastle at 2010.
Eastern Airways also recently launched a base at France’s Dijon Bourgogne airport, and now offers domestic French routes from the airport to both Bordeaux and Toulouse. Both services run twice daily on weekdays, plus one flight on Sunday.
