Malaysia Airlines (MAS) will mount thrice-weekly services to Riyadh from December 17, 2010.
The flight will depart from Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday at 2005, arriving in Riyadh at 2340. The return leg will depart from Riyadh King Khaid International Airport on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 0110, arriving back in Kuala Lumpur at 1400.
To inaugurate the new route, MAS is offering fares starting from MYR1,200 (US$385).
Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will be MAS' fourth destination in the Middle East, following Dubai as well as Jeddha and Dammam also in the KSA.
Other airlines in Asia-Pacific flying to Riyadh include Cathay Pacific from Hong Kong, Singapore Airlines from Singapore, Philippine Airlines from Manila and Jet Airways from Mumbai and Delhi among others.
