Jet Airways will mount direct daily flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Colombo on November 5, 2010. A Boeing B737-800 will be used on both routes.
The carrier has already been serving Sri Lanka's capital from Chennai.
From Delhi, the flight will depart at 1330, arriving in Colombo at 1705. The return flight will depart at 0750, arriving in Delhi at 1130. From Mumbai, the flight will depart at 0210 and arrive in Colombo at 0445. On the return leg, the aircraft will depart from Colombo at 2020 and land in Mumbai at 2255.
Air India and Sri Lankan Air fly also direct from Mumbai and Delhi, while Kingfisher flies via Chennai from both Mumbai and Delhi.
