Raffles Hotels and Resorts is gearing up for the launch of Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris on October 20, 2010, its first property on the Continent.
Just minutes from the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees, the historic Le Royal Monceau has welcomed a parade of dignitaries, celebrities and artists since it opened in 1928. Consisting of 149 guestrooms and suites, some with private balconies with rare views of landscaped gardens, it will also feature five F&B options, an indoor swimming pool and spa (to be completed in 2011 yet). The much publicised designer Philippe Starck has supervised the interiors.
A unique service to be offered is that of a fashion advisor and personal shopper.
For a minimum of two nights, a best available nightly rate from E320 (US$427) applies and comes with buffet breakfast, welcome gift from the hotel collection, two cocktails at Le Bar Long and a selection of pastries by Perre Herme.
The chain also recently welcomed into its fold, the all-suites Raffles Makkah Palace in Saudi Arabia. Close to the Grand Mosque and the Kabba, the property features 213 suites, which come with 24-hour butler service as well as baby-sitting help if required.
Business travellers can use the business centre and five meeting rooms, offering laptops, secretarial assistance, videoconferencing facilities, internet access and projection screens. Meeting rooms can be conjoined to create larger spaces for functions and events.
