Dolce Hotels and Resorts is to breath new life into the former Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas property, which closed its doors in May this year (see online news February 12).
Located 17 miles from the city’s Strip, the 349-room hotel is due to reopen in the first quarter of 2011 under the Dolce brand. In a statement the hotel group said that the resort is “a natural fit for Dolce's portfolio, which focuses on properties situated just outside major metropolitan areas on sprawling grounds where guests can recharge and reconnect”.
The property features Mediterranean architecture, 32,000 square feet of meeting space, and 30,000 square feet of spa and fitness facilities, as well as Las Vegas’ “largest and only over-water chapel” for weddings.
