The Australian Staywell Hospitality group debuts in Asia-Pacific with the four-star Park Regis Hotel Singapore due to open by year-end. The company will also launch another Park Regis in Kuala Lumpur in early 2011.
The 203-room property, ensconced in the Raffles Place district, will cater to both leisure and business travellers. It consists of a 25m pool, gym, an all-day restaurant and three bars, including a poolside bar and a rooftop bar.
For business travellers, the hotel has two meeting and conference rooms equipped with videoconferencing facilities and Wi-Fi internet access, as well as secretarial services.
The group has properties in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane under its Park Regis and Leisure Inn brands, and has projects being developed in New Zealand, Dubai and Morocco.
