China Southern has rolled out Premium Economy class service on its Guangzhou-Sydney route, using the new Airbus A330-300. Fares start from CNY6,200 (US$917).
Then on October 31, 2010, this will be made available on the Guangzhou-Brisbane and Guangzhou-Melbourne routes.
These are the features of the new product:
• 47 Premium Economy seats in total
• Seat pitch has been extended from 32 to 37 inches for expanded legroom
• Amenities include newspapers, double thick wool blanket and pillows, red and white Australian wines, washbag, noise-reduction headphones
• Exclusive Premium Economy check-in counter and extra 15kg luggage allowance
• Bonus FFP miles, allowing Sky Pearl Club members travelling Premium Economy to earn 110 percent more miles and up to December 30, 2010, they will receive an additional 3,000 bonus FFP miles.
