Vietnam Airlines has introduced an online check-in facility on www.vietnamairlines.com for passengers with no checked-in baggage.
Customers only need to enter their passenger details, reservation code, choose a preferred seat and print out their boarding pass. The service is available between 20 and 4 hours before departure time.
At the airport, web check-in passengers should show up at airline counter at least 45 minutes prior to departure time with their boarding pass, after which Vietnam Airline staff will check their documents and stamp the boarding pass. Then, they can proceed to security and their boarding gate.
The service is currently only applicable on Vietnam Airlines' domestic and international flights leaving from these cities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Danang, Busan, Kuala Lumpur, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Seoul Incheon and Vientiane.
It is not extended to passengers with special requests (except for special meals requests), deportees and those holding FOC, ID and AD tickets.
