Regular visitors to businesstraveller.com may have noticed a new feature recently added to our editorial pages, in partnership with Gekko.
Where a specific hotel name is mentioned within a news article or Tried and Tested review, the name is automatically turned into a link – hovering over the information tab next to the name will bring up a box allowing readers to book the hotel directly from our site in just a couple of clicks.
Gekko already partners with a number of major price comparison websites including Expedia, laterooms.com, hotels.com, Tripadvisor, booking.com and lastminute.com, allowing readers to access the best rates offered across the web, for thousands of hotels worldwide.
It’s early days, and you may have noticed a few teething issues including a few generic words linking to specific hotels under the same name (we’re in the process of clearing these up). But we hope that the new service will offer readers the opportunity to book relevant hotels at the best rates, without having to search numerous price comparison sites.
