AirAsia X, the long-haul arm of Malaysian low-cost airline Air Asia, will begin daily direct services between Kuala Lumpur and Seoul on November 1, 2010.
Flights depart Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 1355 for the six-hour journey to Seoul, arriving at Incheon International Airport at 2115. Return flights depart Seoul at 2320 and arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 0505 the next day. An Airbus A330 aircraft, which feature premium flat-bed seats in Business class.
To mark the route start up, the airline is offering a MYR99 (US$31) one-way fare from Kuala Lumpur and a KRW60,000 (US$51) one-way fare from Seoul during the booking period starting today until August 8. This is for travel from November 1 to August 11, 2011.
KLIA-Seoul Incheon is AirAsia X's 11th international route. It also flies to Australia, India, Taiwan, China and London.
