Accor's Grand Mercure Shanghai Zhongya adds to the hotel explosion in the host city for the 2010 World Expo. “The opening of this latest property extends our Shanghai network to 13 hotels,” said Robert Murray, senior vice-president, Accor Greater China.
The 288-room property is located along the South Square of the Shanghai Railway Station, minutes away from the Shanghai metro station of Lines 1, 3 and 4. It also has easy access to landmarks including the Bund, Nanjing Road, Xintiandi and People’s Square.
This Grand Mercure has three dining options, Venu, Tiffin and Hua Fu Ming Jia, offering shanghainese, Italian and contemporary Chinese respectively. A business centre and full complement of meeting facilities, including a ballroom for up to 350 guests is available for corporate needs.
