The SkyTeam airline alliance is marking its 10th anniversary this year, offering its Round-the-World fare pass with reductions between 5 percent and 30 percent. Bookings can be made until September 30, 2010 for travel to be completed before June 30, 2011.
With the pass, customers need only one ticket to travel around the globe. All 13 member airlines are participating in the promotion, allowing travellers to plan their trip through the entire SkyTeam network using a selection of carriers. The grouping consists of Aeroflot, AeroMexico, Air France, Alitalia, KLM, China Southern, Czech Airlines, Delta, Kenya Airways, Korean Air and the two newest members Vietnam Airlines and Romanian carrier Tarom.
The offer applies to leisure and business travellers in both Business and Economy class cabins.
