Dragonair boosts frequency for summer peak period

4 Jul 2010

Dragonair (KA) has boosted flights to a number of destinations during the summer peak season. The carrier's CEO James Tong said the increase was fuelled by the holiday demand. "We're also seeing double-digit growth of passengers connecting from Cathay Pacific flights to Dragonair," he added.

Services to Wuhan and Busan have gone daily.

Hongkong-Kaohsiung becomes 32 flights weekly from July 15, 2010.

Hongkong-Phuket becomes 10 flights weekly from August 1 and Hongkong-Kota Kinabalu goes to five flights weekly from August 5.

Two new Airbus A320s to be delivered in the third quarter will bring KA's fleet to 31.
