Jumeriah Group’s new Venu lifestyle brand is set to make its global debut in Shanghai next year, when the Venu Himalayas Hotel Shanghai opens its doors to the public.
Having only announced the brand in April this year, Dubai-based Jumeirah has now signed a agreement with Shanghai Zendai Himalayas Real Estate Company to manage the 400-room property.
The hotel, which has 70 suites among its guestrooms, will sit within the Himalayas Centre in the Pudong district of Shanghai. The centre also houses a modern art museum, theatre and retail space.
The Venu Himalayas Hotel Shanghai will be Jumeirah’s sixth management agreement in China, taking its global development portfolio up to 43.
