Indian low-cost carrier Jet Airways Konnect has opened a daily, all-economy service from West Bengal capital Kolkata to Ranchi, the capital of mineral-rich Jharkhand state.
The route is the 44th now operated by the Jet Airways group, which aside from its parent carrier also includes a second LCC, JetLite. See our background story here.
Jet Airways Konnect flight 9W 2856 will depart Kolkata’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Airport at 2.35pm, and arrive at Ranchi Airport at 3.45pm. Return flight 9W 2857 will depart Ranchi at 4.15pm and arrive Kolkata at 5.25pm. The service will use ATR-72 500 aircraft. The timings allow for onward evening connections from Kolkata to Mumbai and Delhi.
