21 Jun 2010 by BusinessTraveller

Qatar Airways is launching a total of six new routes across Europe and Asia from this October, with destinations including Brussels, Bucharest, Budapest and Hanoi.

The carrier’s continued expansion plans see it launch daily flights to Phuket (via Kuala Lumpur) on October 11, followed by Hanoi on November 1 (four-times weekly) and Nice (three-times weekly via Milan) from November 24.

Next year will then see Qatar launching four-times weekly flights to Bucharest (continuing on to Budapest) on January 17, and finally five flights per week to Brussels from January 31.

The route announcements are the latest in the carrier’s expansion plans, with flights to Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires starting this week (June 24), and routes to Bengalaru, Copenhagen, Ankara, Toko and Barcelona all having commenced recently.
