Gatwick launches Runway Models campaign

4 Jun 2010 by BusinessTraveller

Business travellers fancying themselves as the next Kate Moss or Lily Cole, can pop along to a photo booth at Gatwick airport and upload their photo for the public to vote them into a chance to win a modelling contract.

Entries for the Runway Models competition can be uploaded until July 12, either from one of the photo booths within the departure lounges at Gatwick, or online at the airport dedicated website gatwickevents.com.

Here you’ll also find the opportunity to vote for your favourite male and female models, with the top choices being put forward to the finals, along with four male and female finalists chosen by Storm Model Management.

The final ten will attend a boot camp where a male and female winner will be chosen, winning a year’s New Faces modelling contract with Storm, and will make their catwalk debut at the London gatwick Fashion week from August 5-8. The two winners of the public vote will also receive £500 of Gatwick shopping vouchers.

Even if you don’t end up winning a modelling contract, you can be safe in knowledge that Gatwick airport will donate £1 to the Great Ormond Street Hospital charity for every photo uploaded.
