Emirates brings forward second London A380 service

Emirates will offer a second daily A380 service between London and Dubai from June 15, two weeks earlier than previously planned due to the early delivery of its latest superjumbo.

The A380 aicraft will be rostered onto EK004 departing Heathrow at 2040, adding to the existing 1415 departure (EK002) plied by the superjumbo. As previously reported by businesstraveller.com, the new service will enable London passengers to fly on the A380 all the way through to Sydney, connecting in Dubai onto to flight EK412 (see online news March 11).

The carrier is also gearing up to add the A380 onto its routes from Beijing (daily from August 1), Manchester (September 1), and will also reintroduce the superjumbo onto its New York route from October 1.
