Vueling invites Ryanair passengers to swap Barcelona flights

28 May 2010 by BusinessTraveller

Spanish carrier Vueling is inviting customers who bought flights on Ryanair’s new services from Barcelona (see online news May 26), to swap the outbound flight to a Vueling service free of charge, to compare the two airlines.

Vueling is offering anyone who bought tickets on Ryanair’s new services yesterday (May 27 – when the Ryanair flights went on sale), to try out its service on the outbound leg, to give customers the chance to “notice the difference”.

The offer is valid on routes from Barcelona to Malaga, Mallorca, Seville, Santiago, Ibiza, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Brussels, Paris, Milan, Palermo, Rome, and Edinburgh.

Travellers should fill in their Ryanair flight details via the link at the bottom of this article before June 1, and Vueling will then contact them to propose an alternative outbound flight from Barcelona, with the same destination and “a comparable time of day”.
