Les Suites Orient, a boutique hotel on the Shanghai Bund, opens today.
The 168-room hotel, which includes 43 suites, is on Jinling East Road in the city's historic quarter, with panoramic views over the Huangpu River.
Among the hotel's innovations is a hotel key card which has stored value that can also be used on Shanghai's public transport such taxis, the subway, and ferries.
The hotel offers 24-hour multilingual concierge service, 24-hour business center, in-room dining, library, complimentary Internet, and tea, coffee, and refreshments all day in Le Lounge.
Specially suited to the needs of the multi time-zoned international business traveller, the hotel offers round-the-clock facilities in the shape of a 24-hour business centre, fitness centre and multilingual concierge service. Guests are also entitled to complimentary two-hour use of the hotel's three meeting rooms.
All guestrooms are equipped with the exclusive Les Suites Mobile Life. This mobile concierge service allows guests to be in contact with the hotel concierge, both in the hotel as well as in the city.
Le Lounge offers breakfast as well as all-day facilities including complimentary refreshments. There is also an express breakfast-to-go station for time-pressed guests.
