Qatar’s Privilege Club loyalty scheme turns ten years old on May 2, and to celebrate the carrier is launching a number of promotions including the chance to redeem miles at just 10 per cent of the normal rate.
The discounted redemption rate is valid for all Privilege Club members, on all flight redemptions taken in economy class on May 2. Note that the offer only applies to flight sectors actually taken on May 2, so for instance if the return leg of your trip is on a different date, this sector will be charged at the normal Qmiles rate. The Q Miles plus cash option is not available with this offer.
Members unable to take advantage of the 10 per cent offer can still benefit from a 50 per cent discount on business and first class redmption upgrades during the whole of May. Those booking economy class tickets in Y, B and L can upgrade for half the number of normal Qmiles, for flights taken between May 1 and May 31.
Qatar is also offering 10,000 bonus miles for any members flying 10 sectors in 10 weeks between May 1 and July 10, and as a final incentive members can earn double Qpoints on all flights taken between May 1 and May 31.
