AirAsia offers holidays to wait out the ash fall

Stranded passengers in Singapore and Malaysia, still uncertain about their return journey to Europe and have time on their hands, may want to take up AirAsia’s latest promotion.

Valid from today until April 25, 2010 for travel between today and May 23, 2010, the one-way MYR99 (US$31) fare is to any Asean destination (except Myanmar) from Singapore or Malaysia. Travellers need only to show their flight tickets on any airline to Europe to any AirAsia sales office or sales counter.

Kathleen Tan, regional head of commercial, AirAsia Group, said: “It’s our small contribution to these affected passengers…it’s also our hope to make up for their disappointment for their cancelled trips.”

For added value services, travellers can access which offers hotel deals, car hire, packaged holidays, transfers, food, baggage allowance and special activities.
