Four Seasons Hong Kong

Address: 8 Finance Street, Central

What is it like? With 399 guestrooms, including 54 suites, and fusion Euro-Chinese decor, this super-luxury hotel sits on top of the International Finance Centre, which dominates the waterfront skyline. The location of the Four Seasons has allowed it to become a favourite of the higher-bracket business traveller due to its great location to offices, shopping and transport links.

Which train station? Hong Kong Station and Central MTR station

Connections: The Airport Express link takes you to Kowloon, Tsing Yi, Hong Kong International Airport and AsiaWorld-Expo. Central Station is linked to Hongkong’s extensive MTR network.



Hilton Kuala Lumpur Hotel

Address: 3 Jalan Stesen, Kuala Lumpur Sentral

What it’s like? Located at the heart of the city, the hotel boasts a fully equipped Business Lounge and 14 meeting rooms for 10 to 1,500 persons, including the spectacular Grand Ballroom and the multi-event venue Level Seven.

Which train station? KL Sentral Station

Connections: The KL Sentral Station is the city’s main transport hub where hotel guests can catch the LRT and the monorail trains to the city centre. RapidKL LRT is a light rail transit system serving the Klang Valley via the integrated rail and bus network. Its Kelana Jaya and Ampang lines connect most major locations in central Klang Valley, while the feeder buses service the areas surrounding the stations. Meanwhile, the nearest monorail station to KL Sentral is along Jalan Tun Sambanthan, a five-minute walk away. The monorail station connects the northeast and southeast sections of Kuala Lumpur.


Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur

What is it like? Le Méridien is located at the Kuala Lumpur Sentral precinct, which features the contemporary marvels and historic charm of the destination. It is the centre for cultural activities and art appreciation, highlighted by the celebrated National Museum, Philharmonic Hall, and National Theatre. The hotel offers 11 meeting rooms, a fitness centre and free-form swimming pool.

Which train station? KL Sentral train station

Connections: From KL Sentral station, hotel guests have access to the commuter trains for travel to the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur. The LRT trains and the monorail provide easy access to the city centre and the tourist hot spots in Bukit Bintang. Several bus services are available at KL Sentral station, connecting daily commuters to every place in the city. The hotel is just walking distance from KL Sentral, the city’s transportation hub. Furthermore,the hotel has direct access to the 78km express rail service between Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station.



Granvia Hotel Kyoto

Address: JR Kyoto Station Building, Shimogyo-ku

The Ritz-Carlton Portman, Shanghai

Address: 1376 Nanjing Xi Lu

What is it like? The 610-room hotel is located at the Jing An district right at the centre of the commercial hub of West Nanjing Road. Walking distance to the Shanghai Exhibition Centre, the area features a number of attractions, upscale hotels and shopping malls.

Which train station? The hotel is along the Line 2 of the Shanghai Metro, with the nearest station being the West Nanjing Road Station.

Connections: The Shanghai Metro is a vast rail system consisting of 10 lines. Line 2 travels the length of 64km from Pudong International Airport in the east to the Xujing East in the west. It is the only line that serves both the Pudong and Hongqiao airports. Line 2 has approximately nine interchange stations where passengers can transfer from one line to another.



Shangri-La Hotel Tokyo

Address: Marunouchi Trust Tower Main, 1-8-3 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku

What is it like? The Japanese capital’s newest luxury property. Within walking distance of the Imperial Palace, Nihonbashi and Ginza, this 200-room hotel sits on the top 11 floors of the Marunouchi Trust Tower.

Which train station? Tokyo Station (both JR and Metro), Otemachi and Nihonbashi Stations (Metro)

Connections: There are almost too many connections to mention. The JR station connects to almost every part of Japan including with the Shinkansen bullet trains. The Tokyo metro connects to all parts of the metropolis and there are direct trains to the main international airport with the Narita Express.
