Next week's rail strike has been called off, after Network Rail won a High Court injunction again the planned industrial action.
The rail operator had taken the case to the High Court citing "scores of inaccuracies and discrepancies affecting around 300 votes or potential votes" in a recent RMT ballot of 5,800 signal workers.
The injunction means the planned four-day strike will not now go ahead, although it leaves open the possibility of future industrial action if members are reballoted, as happened with the delayed British Airways strikes.
