Sheraton Hsinchu opens for business on April 3

29 Mar 2010

Hsinchu County in Taiwan will benefit from the opening a Sheraton hotel on April 3, 2010. The 386-room property is 10 minutes away from a high-speed railway station and 50 minutes away from Taoyuan International Airport.

This is the first international hospitality brand to enter the market that has so far been dominated by local chains.

The Sheraton Hsinchu in downtown Jhubei City will feature the brand's usual trademarks such as the Sheraton Club Lounge, Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed and The Link@Sheraton media corner in the lobby.

Guestrooms also come with large windows, wall-mounted 42-inch LCD TVs and high-speed internet access. All-day dining is answered by Feast, with Chinese cuisine presented by Yue Restaurant and drinks by the Light Bar and Lobby Lounge.

For meetings, a pillarless ballroom, nine multi-functional meeting venues and business centre fulfill a variety of requirements.

The Howard Plaza, Ambassador and Hotel Royal are some of the hotels that have been serving the community for many years now.

An introductory rate of TWD3,915 (US$122) for a Superior Room with one breakfast is on offer from April 3 to May 31.
