Air China, as reported earlier (see news), will launch a Beijing-Manila non-stop service on March 29, 2010.
It becomes the third player on this sector as Philippine Airlines and China Southern Airlines have been plying the route for several years now.
Air China’s PhoenixMiles members can avail of a special fare price of CNY1,666 (US$243.68). In addition, from March 16 to May 31, they will be able to redeem flights to Manila for half the regular frequent flyer miles. ??
Flights to Manila will depart from Beijing Capital Airport at 2000 on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and arrive in the Philippine capital at 0055. Return flight to Beijing will depart from Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 0630 on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday and arrive at Beijing at 1110
Passengers can expect to fly on a Boeing B738 when heading for Manila.
