Air France provides first class passengers with new lounge service

15 Mar 2010

Air France’s La Premiere (first class) customers can now experience heightened levels of service at the JetQuay Lounge of the CIP Terminal at Changi Airport.

“CIP”, which stands for commercially important passengers, has been specially designed for the highest-tier clientele.

“At Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Air France has its own exclusive first class facility,” said Rapheal Liang, public relations manager, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand for Air France KLM. “Previously, our first class and business class passengers (at Changi) used a lounge, shared with other airlines. Now, La Premiere passengers can go to JetQuay and be welcomed by staff who will provide assistance upon departure and transit with baggage check-in or retrieval and airport formalities.”

Measuring 2,000sqm, amenities include a business centre, meeting rooms, individual washrooms, gym, spa and bistro.

Liang revealed that services for first class travellers vary from airport to airport and depend on their security regulations.

At CDG, a limousine brings VVIPs right up to the ramp of the aircraft. At Changi, an electronic buggy delivers them to the boarding gate.
