Increased demand on the Kuala Lumpur-Paris route has pushed Malaysia Airlines (MH) to add two more non-stop daily services to its existing five times weekly flights starting March 28, 2010.
These new flights will depart Kuala Lumpur at 1135pm and arrive in Paris at 0640 (local time). Arriving early in the morning allows passengers more time to take avantage of their stay as well as catch early connecting flights to other destinations in France, on the continent and the UK.
Amin Khan, the airline’s senior general manager, network and revenue management, described forward bookings on this sector as “much healthier compared with last year” and the load factor being “at about 80 percent”.
Another Asian carrier that believes in improved European prospects is Cathay Pacific, which is poised to launch new services to Milan on the same date of MH's new services and to Moscow some time in the summer.
