Hotel group Best Western has introduced free internet access at its 275 properties throughout the UK.
Hotels within the group are independently owned and managed, with their own internet providers, but where internet access if offered this will now be available free of charge in guest rooms and throughout the group's portfolio of 1,200 meeting rooms in the UK.
Said Tim Wade, head of marketing for Best Western:
"Offering free internet access will help all our guests, from families with children who want to chat to their friends, to business travellers who need to access emails. As all our hotels are independently owned, we know how important it is for businesses to save money wherever possible. This small saving for each traveller adds up a massive saving for the economy to help people through this tough year."
