Kingfisher to launch London-Delhi route on March 28

17 Feb 2010 by Mark Caswell

Indian carrier Kingfisher Airlines has confirmed the launch date of its new route from London Heathrow to Delhi, with daily flights from the end of March.

Kingfisher was granted rights for seven international routes earlier this month (see online news February 10), and has now confirmed details of its London-Delhi service. Flight IT002 will depart Heathrow T4 at 2105, arriving in Delhi at 1020 the next day, with the return leg IT001 leaving India at 1320 and landing back in the UK at 1810.

Flights will be plied with A330-200 aircraft configured for two classes – Kingfisher Class (economy) and Kingfisher First (business). The new route joins the carrier’s existing service from London Heathrow to Mumbai.

The London to Delhi route is currently served by BA, Virgin, Air India and Jet Airways.
