UK regional airline Flybe has announced it is to begin a new service between Manchester and Bournemouth later this year.
According to both Flybe and Manchester Airport, it is the first time the two airports have ever been linked by a scheduled service, giving another option to those flying between northern England and the South Coast.
From May 27, Flybe will begin a six times weekly service throughout both the summer and winter schedules, with no service on Saturdays.
The other two South Coast destinations out of Manchester are Southampton and Plymouth, which are served by Flybe and Air Southwest respectively.
The new flight will leave Manchester at 1040 arriving 1140, with the return service leaving Bournemouth at 1205 and arriving at 1305, Monday to Friday. On Sundays the flight will leave MAN at 1015, arriving 1115. The return flight leaves BOH at 1140.
MAN-BOH on Flybe is available to book now.
