Hotel Nikko Xiamen opens early 2011, the latest of JAL Hotels’ four planned properties in China and its ninth in the country.
Earlier, the chain announced the roll out next year of Hotel Nikko Shanghai and Hotel Nikko Wuxi and in 2011, Hotel Nikko Guangzhou.
Adjacent to the emerging Xiamen Software Park and Guanyinshan Business Park, the Xiamen property will have 443 rooms and various facilities occupying 25 floors. The area where it is located will see the rise of an international exhibition and conference centre, a consulate zone, theatre and concert halls as well as a marina.
In 2010, JAL Hotels will also set down roots in Dubai with Hotel JAL Tower Dubai, followed in 2011 by JAL Bahrain Resort & Spa and Hotel Nikko Saigon. It also operates Hotel JAL City, a collection of 13 mid-priced hotels for business travellers in Japan.
