JAPAN
Shangri-La Tokyo is offering Deluxe Rooms from JPY60,000 (U$666), including a Christmas floral arrangement, chocolate Christmas cake, Shangri-La Hotel Tokyo Teddy Bear and Breakfast for two. This runs until December 26 morning.
SINGAPORE
Meritus Mandarin has priced a Deluxe Room stay at S$250 (US$178) nightly from December 23 to January 1, 2010.
Christmas Eve lunch costs from S$45 (US$32) for adults and S$30 (US$21) for children, dinner from S$98 (US$69) for adults and S$52 (US$37) for children; Christmas Day lunch is S$75 (US$53) for adults and S$48 (US$34) for children. The same applies for New Year’s Eve lunch, dinner and New Year’s day.
On Christmas Eve, the Observation Lounge on level 38 welcomes guests at S$38 (US$27) per person for one drink and free snacks before 10pm, but after, it’s S$55 (US$39) per person, which includes one housepour, snacks and a glass of champagne. Bar on 5 has special rates too.
Pan Pacific has a Christmas getaway for two until January 4 (excluding December 31) starting from S$248 (US$176) nightly. This includes breakfast for two, welcome amenities and 1500 check out the next day. Its Countdown Package for two starts from S$348 (US$248) nightly, including breakfast for two, welcome amenities, access to the countdown party at level 3 with one housepour per person and 1500 check out the next day.

Festive buffet lunches and dinners are available at the Greenhouse, Summer Pavilion, Grand Ballroom and Chihuly Lounge. New Year’s Eve will see free-flow of Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial NV, beers, house pour wines, fruit juices and soft drinks at the celebration dinner buffet.
On December 30, the S$490 (US$349) Countdown Package consists of stay for two in a Deluxe Kallang Bay View room and American breakfast for two in the Greenhouse.
THAILAND
Dusit D2, Pattaya’s hippest boutique hotel is hosting a five-course dinner for THB1,200 (US$36) and a three-course dinner for THB800 (US$24) from December 20 to 26 with children under 10 dining for free with a special menu and present from Santa.
Its New Year’s Eve festive package consists of pre-dinner cocktails at the Pool Bar, a seven-course dinner, glass of sparkling wine at the rooftop Sunset Lounge to welcome 2010 and a last drink at the Deep Bar. All for THB6,500 (US$195).
For just drinks at the Sunset Lounge and welcoming 2010, the price is THB2,000 (US$60) for free flow of sparkling wine and canapés from 10pm to 1am.
VIETNAM
Movenpick Saigon is upgrading guests to a Executive Deluxe Room when they stay for Christmas Eve. Priced at VND3,222,000 (US$171), twin occupancy and VND2,502,000 (US$133), single occupancy, including a welcome fruit basket, 20 percent off on all F&B and Christmas dinner. For New Year’s Eve, it’s also a free upgrade to an Executive Deluxe Room, a welcome drink, fruit basket, 20 percent off on all F&B and the New Year’s Eve dinner for VND3,402,000 (US$182), double occupancy and VND2,682,000 (US$143), single occupancy.
Saigon Café is putting on a Christmas Eve buffet dinner on December 24 for VND828,000 (US$44), per person, including welcome cocktail and free flow of beer, soft drinks, coffee and tea. On December 31, the price is still US$44 per person, including the New Year’s Eve buffet, welcome cocktail, free flow of beer, soft drinks and glass of sparkling wine for the countdown.
