Southern Railway is looking for 1,000 travellers to take part in a Passenger Panel designed to “test drive ideas” on everything from tannoy announcements to catering.
The rail operator is inviting business travellers, students, commuters and leisure travellers to join the panel at southernrailway.com/passengerpanel, where members will be asked to provide information about their typical journey on Southern.
The panel will be operated via email and through the Southern website, and the operator says it expects “consultations to take place no more than once a month depending on the typical journey and the plans and issues that need to be discussed”.
New initiatives recently introduced by Southern include the Priority Seat Card, which can be carried by travellers with disabilities, expectant mothers, elderly passengers or those carrying infants – for more information see online news October 26.
