British Airways’ Bangkok station is promoting a return “Companion Offer” on First Class for travel between the Thai capital and Sydney with onward connections to Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide on BA's partner Qantas. Bookings must be completed by December 31, 2009, and departures from Bangkok are also until that date.

To avail of the offer,  customers must purchase the First return fare of THB111,350 (US$3,440), which then makes them eligible for the companion fare of THB57,675 (US$1,724).

Here are the major conditions:

• Flights are return First Class on BA flights only

• Fares do not include airport taxes, fees and surcharges

• Tickets are non-refundable, non-reroutable and non-endorsable

• All travel must originate in Bangkok and tickets issued at the same time in Thailand

• Seats are limited and may not be available on every flight.

• Children, infant, corporate deals and other industry discount tickets are not eligible
