Premium passengers on Lufthansa’s flights to India will be able to sample menus created by chefs from luxury hotel group Leela Palaces, Hotels and Reosrts.
The two-year agreement, which forms part of Lufthansa’s Star Chef’s programme, will see business and first class passengers dining on dishes such as masala and Alleppy fish curry, and khade masale ka paneer (cottage cheese) with jeera rice and dal tadka.
The latest chefs to be involved in the programme are Corporate master chef Farman Ali, currently at the Leela Palace Kempinski Bangalore, and Surender Mohan, corporate sous chef at the Leela Mumbai.
Earlier this year Lufthanss launched a partnership with Ritz-Carlton for its in-flight dining experience on flights between Germany and the US (see online news April 29).
