Continental Airlines relocates operations at Narita International

5 Oct 2009

Continental Airlines will be relocating arrival and departure operations from Narita International Airport's Terminal 1 North Wing to the South Wing on November 1.

The airline will also simultaneously transfer its check-in counter to the South Wing main lobby.

The move will allow passengers to connect seamlessly at Narita between Continental's five daily transpacific and Micronesia flights and United's 11 daily transpacific and intra-Asia flights departing from Tokyo.

Furthermore, when Continental joins Star Alliance at the end of this month, the relocation will facilitate connections with ANA and other Star Aliance member airlines that are operating in the South Wing. These airlines include Air China, Asiana Airlines, Singapore Airlines and THAI Airways.

Star Alliance airlines run a total of 77 daily departures from Narita International Airport.
