Abu Dhabi airport expands internet access

Abu Dhabi International airport has completed the rollout of free internet access across its terminals, including the introduction of 50 walk-up kiosks in the recently-opened Terminal 3.

There is now free wifi access throughout the airport (one hour of access per sesssion, with users able to reconnect for subsequent sessions), and a total of 65 touchscreen internet kiosks (20 access minutes per session), 50 of which have been rolled out in the new terminal.

The airport says that around 25 per cent of visitors to the airport are logging on using one of the access methods, with 250,000 sessions registered in a rcent 2-day period.
