Air India officials claimed that services were unaffected despite continuing protests by AI staff unions.
AI workers have taken part in hunger strikes at several major airports after Air India failed to pay the salaries of some employees this month and announced that it would cut the performance-linked incentives of the employees by 30 to 50 percent.
Around 20,000 employees of the national carrier started a three-day hunger on Tuesday across various airports in the country, according to Times of India reports.
An Air India spokesperson in Delhi said that the flight operations have not been impacted by the strike.
The airline on Tuesday agreed to immediately release the delayed salaries, but has refused to change its decision to cut incentives.
