Loft-style living, plus proximity to a thriving intellectual hub, are compelling features Frasers Hospitality hopes will make its new Fraser Place Fusionopolis popular with peripatetic executives.
The serviced residence is located in Fusionopolis @ one-north, Singapore’s science and technology hub in the western neighbourhood of Buona Vista, close to Rochester Park and Holland Village which offer trendy dining options. The area will be enhanced by a Circle Line MRT line in 2011.
A total of 50 work-loft serviced apartments –
contemporary-style one-bedroom – occupy levels 17 to 19 of the
Symbiosis Tower and are accessible via a private lift lobby. Daily rates are S$280 (US$192) for a Loft Executive and S$315 (US$217) for a Loft Premier.
Ranging between 46sqm and 99sqm, the units each comprise a living room, fully equipped kitchen, dining room on one level, and a bedroom connected by staircase. All are internet enabled with VoIP and have a surround-sound home entertainment system, iPod docking station, game console and Wi-Fi phone. Residents have access to a gym, rooftop swimming pool, lounge and sky-garden café.
Fraser Place Fusionopolis provides the model for the company’s future projects, according to Choe Peng Sum, CEO, Frasers Hospitality. “As work and leisure times continue to merge due to advances in technology and increasing time constraints, we are moving towards a more integrated model for our residences from a facilities and services standpoint,” he said.
The opening of Fraser Place Fusionopolis has set a trend for urban living near the workplace, with future projects including the 370-room Park Avenue @ Rochester and the 305-room Park Avenue @ Changi, scheduled to be ready in 2011 and 2012 respectively.
