Valamar Hotels and Resorts has opened a new hotel in Dubrovnik, featuring some of the largest conference facilities in the Croatian city.

Valamar Lacroma Resort has 385 rooms and 16 suites as well as a conference hall for up to 1,000 people, which can be divided into four sections. There is also a business centre and seven additional meeting rooms.

The hotel also features one of the largest spas in Dubrovnik, covering nearly 1,000 sqm. It has a fitness centre, beauty centre, massage and relaxation rooms, outdoor spa bath, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a private spa area.

Restaurant choices include an a la carte restaurant and a show-cooking buffet eatery, plus the Nocturno wine and cocktail bar and the Palma lounge bar.

The design of the new hotel was overseen by Austrian architect Boris Podrecca. It is located on the Babin Kuk peninsula, near the Old Town.

Valamar Hotels and Resorts manages 39 properties on the Adriatic coast and in Istria. The company also operates a second hotel in Dubrovnik, the 180-room Valamar Dubrovnik President hotel.
