Low-cost carrier Easyjet has announced a total of 15 new European routes to be launched this winter, including eight from UK airports.
Easyjet's 2009/10 winter schedule will see new routes between Edinburgh and Lyon (with flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays), starting on December 17.
The airline will also launch flights from Gatwick to Porto (daily) on November 2, and Hamburg on February 2 next year (twice daily, daily on Saturdays).
Liverpool will also gain, with new services to Lanzarote (starting November 3) and Fuerteventura (November 2), while on November 4, Easyjet will start Stansted-Fuerteventura and Luton-Paphos.
A further six routes will start from Rome, as well as a Madrid-Amsterdam flight twice daily (daily at weekends). Tickets go on sale today.
