The Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta will reopen in October 1, 2009 after going through a complete renovation.
Located on Jalan Thamrin, 45 minutes from Jakarta International Airport, the newly revamped Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta will feature 272 guestrooms including six suites.
Each room will boast modern amenities including wireless and high-speed broadband internet access, a 42-inch LCD TV, PC, iPod connectivity, complete surround sound systems and mood-control lighting.
For dining options, a range of dining experiences from Asian to European inspired dining (Cantonese, Szechuan, French etc.) will be offered. The MO bar, which is featured in many Mandarin Oriental hotels, will be a highlight in the newly renovated hotel.
For meetings and social events, the hotel boasts 1,060sqm of conference spaces, offering seven different kinds of venues, including the ballroom that features 590 sqm of space with the flexibility of being divided into three rooms.
Other facilities featured will be the fitness centre and pool on level five, the business centre with secretarial services and treatment rooms for a range of therapeutic massage treatments.
