Three airlines, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines and Tiger, have pushed out promotions for a limited time only.
• Lufthansa has unrolled a HK$22,600 (US$2,916) roundtrip business class promotion from Hongkong to Europe for tickets booked on lufthansa.com. Promotion is valid for booking from June 17 and 18.
• Singapore Airlines has launched promotional return economy fares from Singapore to destinations in the Asia-Pacific region. Passengers can book tickets to Hongkong for S$298 (US$205) and to Nanjing and Shanghai for S$498 (US$342) until June 18.
Return economy fares of S$208 to Kuala Lumpur and Penang, S$228 (US$157) to Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City, S$528 (US$363) to Colombo, Dhaka and Kolkata, S$568 (US$390) to Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Perth and S$698 (US$479) to Sydney are also available until June 22. Tickets are valid for travel between June 19 and July 31, and KrisFlyer miles do not accrue for this promotion.
• Tiger Airways has announced a 50 percent discount on fares to 18 Asian destinations such as Langkawi, Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Penang, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Phuket, Clark (Manila), Macau, Shenzhen, Haikou, Padang, Hanoi, Chennai, Bangalore, Singapore and Guangzhou. Tickets are for booking until June 24 on tigerairways.com only, and travel must be done between July 15 and November 30.
