Yemenia the national carrier of the Arabian state of Yemen is hoping to open a route to China next year.
According to airline representatives visiting Hongkong, the flag carrier is negotiating to start a service from the Yemeni capital Sanaa to the southern Chinese business hub of Guangzhou early next year.
Currently Yemenia has only two east Asian routes, to Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur.
