Hyatt goes mobile

5 Jun 2009 by Mark Caswell

Hyatt Hotels & Resorts has launched a new mobile website that allows guests to find and book hotel rooms through any web-enabled device.

The service, called Hyatt Mobile and powered by mobile partner Usablenet, allows guests to make and change reservations and check in or out. Special offers, corporate and group rates and maps are also available.

Mobile users who navigate to hyatt.com will be automatically directed to Hyatt’s mobile website. Members of Hyatt Gold Passport may view account details and receive special offers.

According to Hyatt, guests now have full access to information on all hotels and resort locations from where ever they are in the world.

“Our new Hyatt Mobile functionality provides access to all the tools and content our guests need,” Lynda Bott, director, Hyatt Brand Websites, said.

“Many of our guests live on-the-go lifestyles and are technologically on all the time. They are accustomed to being able to manage their schedules and travel using mobile devices so we wanted to provide them with another convenient way to interact with Hyatt.”

Mobile sites for the Hyatt Place and Hyatt Summerfield Suites hotel brands will go live later this month. The service is already live for Andaz and Park Hyatt, through their respective websites.
