Travellers going to Australia, the United Kingdom and northern Europe can enjoy special deals on return fares from AirAsia X and Scandinavian Airlines (SAS).
As part of its Summer Getaway in London package, AirAsia X has announced two-way airfares of A$700 (US$575) from Perth to London and A$900 (US$739) from Melbourne and Gold Coast to London.
Bookings must be made by June 14 for travel between June 15 and September 13. All flights have to transit through AirAsia’s hub at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
Meanwhile, SAS has discounted Business and Economy Extra Class round-trip fares from Bangkok to 36 destinations in northern Europe for booking until June 30.
Business Class is priced at THB85,000 (US$2,487) and Economy Extra Class at THB50,000 (US$1,464) for flights between Bangkok and long-haul points such as Berlin, Stuttgart, Dusseldorf, Hannover, Hamburg, Brussels, Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Helsinki.
In addition, passengers may connect to 26 secondary destinations across Denmark, Sweden and Norway at no extra cost.
The promotion excludes taxes and fees that start from THB12,000 (US$351) and tickets sold are for travel between June 16 and September 30.
Aircraft utilised on the route is an Airbus A340-300, connecting flights will employ various aircraft including the Bombardier CRJ900 NextGen and Boeing B737s.
