The architectural firm designing the forthcoming Mandarin Oriental property in Moscow has released concept images of the hotel, including a futuristic internal atrium inspired by a Faberge egg.
HOK Architects have designed an “upside down” hotel, with a sky lobby offering views of the Kremlin and Red Square. If the concept plans come to fruition the hotel will combine a redeveloped historic building with a curved nine-level internal atrium, terminating with a speciality restaurant on the ninth floor.
