Having dropped its daily service from London to Mumbai on May 2, Virgin Atlantic has announced a codeshare agreement with Jet Airways on the route.
From today (May 6) Virgin will place its code on Jet’s twice daily flights between the two cities, allowing Flying Club members to earn and redeem points on a route that had recently been lost from the Virgin network.
It will also allow Virgin customers to sample Jet’s fully-flat business class product and first class suites on the route, and will enable same-terminal connections at Heathrow T3 for passengers connnecting to or from one of Virgin’s long-haul routes.
