Travellers booking rooms at Hotel Nikko Kuala Lumpur can now enjoy a more interactive experience when making a reservation online as the hotel today launched its newly revamped website.
Offering rich downloadable images of the hotel, the site offers real-time online reservation that allows guests to customise their stay and get an instant booking confirmation.
Using Web 2.0 technology, the site enables guests to inform family members and friends via online social networks where they will be staying and dining in Kuala Lumpur with a click of a button.
“Business travellers as well as leisure travellers are becoming more and more internet savvy. They now look to the internet for the best accommodation rates, airline fares and practically everything they may need to know when making their travel plans,” Michael Borostyan, hotel general manager.
He added: “It is timely for us to revamp our website to offer users a more interactive site, one that enhances the hotel’s web position.”
Guests who make and confirm their reservations online also enjoy extra privileges and preferential benefits such as free room upgrade on their next visits, late check out, F&B vouchers and discounted spa treatment to name a few.
Also, companies organising meetings and events can go on the website, send online queries and get a response within 24 hours.
The new multimedia features of the revamped website is expected to complement the i-stay booking engine that was launched late last year.
“Since we’ve launched the i-stay booking engine that allows guests to customise their stays, bookings online have increased by 200 percent,” Borostyan said.
